Ooooerrr, am I in the right place? I wish I understood some Finnish, but struggling with Dutch is about my limit at the moment!

Anyway, it's a long time since I've been here, and it seems you aren't all that busy a blogger either, but I thought I'd just drop by and thank you for your kind encouragement on my new project. I really appreciated your comment, and will let you know when there is more to read.

As I'm very busy with my teaching work right now, it might only come in small chunks, but I've started now, so I'll definitely keep going until I've finished it ;-)

`i've just been looking down your posts Hans and you have some great photos. Your summehouse views are superb and the pics of the Who concert are brilliant! I'll try and look at the MySpace page, but as I'm not a member, I might not get to see everything.

err... Vally, in fact those comments are in swedish. We are some 300000 swedish-speaking people here along the west and south-coast. The dialect I am speaking is very ancient and contains a lot of words reminding of the Dutch language!

Yes, I like your new novella very much and as you can see from our surroundings I am very familliar with the sea and the ships and everything related to the "watery-ways".
I grew up on this island named Björkö and the only way to go to the city when I was a little boy was by boat.
In the mid 50:s Björkö was connected to the next island, Replot by a causeway construction and bridges but from Replot onwards there was a ferry connection and several hours of my life as a young boy was spent in the wheel-house of those ferries!
That is now replaced by the longest bridge in finland, the Replot bridge, and can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Replot_Bridge

Well, it may be impossible to see the photos at Myspace if you aren´t a member but you can see the rolling slideshow (and Ingelas ) on our profiles.

Oops, long time since commenting here!

I preordered the Helsinki DVD as soon as that was possible (i.e. right after the gig :-)). I agree, it was a truly astonishing show, such energy and intensity. And I still think they were enjoying themselves a lot. I saw myself a couple of times in the DVD, too. :-)

Hi Maria,
we did that also, we arrived to my sons apartement in Tölö 30 min. after the gig and preordered the DVD immediately.
Blogging is not really my thing so this blog is updated irregulary.
I would like to create some theme to blog about but it supposedly would be very boring like Antenna and transmission-line theories and antenna modelling, Pete Townshend lyrics, Offshore-Radio History or My Memoirs...
Who else would be interested in such stuff?
:)

Ingela came up with the idea of photo-blogging, i.e. take a new photo each day out of her everyday life and write a short blog around that. Check this space for more info!

Errmmm.. Please don't get me wrong here above, Pete Townshend's lyrics are all but boring but me blogging around that subject would for sure be very boring because I don't have a single clue...

chuckle Hans! We all do that at times!
