59

Today I am a 59.
Being a Radio Amateur (or HAM-radio operator) I am very pleased with that :)

Because a 59 is the best signal report a Radio Amateur can get.
It is explained here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RST_code
5 = Perfectly readable
9 = Very strong signals

We can leave out the "tone" part because I'm not so active on CW ( = Morse code telegraphy) nowadays.
I will stay a 59 for some 8760 hours :)

Hey, Happy birthday, and I'm sorry I missed it earlier. It was my daughter's birthday on Saturday as well, and it seems to be quite a month for birthdays. Nice radio link, Hans. It was a shame Gary didn't win the Who tickets. He deserved it!

Thank you all!
Yes it seems that September-October are months with a reletively high birth-rate here up in the North but a very logical result of the long and cold nights in December-January. :)
Gary should have won those tickets. His rendition of "Pinball Wizard" was outstanding!
