The Music Must Change

Well, we have had Classic Rock, Hard Rock, Punk Rock, Industrial Rock etc. but now it's time for Chainsaw Rock!
Lukas traded in the SG- clone for a Jonsered CS2137 and it sounded... awful!
To much distortion and smoke for my taste.

Anyway, the spring has not really sprung here yet though things looked promising at the end of April and the beginning of May but then we had a backlash. Then it looked promising again around Mothers day but that very afternoon temperature plunged from +21 centigrades to 13 centigrades in one hour and has dropped down to below 10 the rest of the week. We have had frost every night and last night it went down to -6 degrees! Global Warming, my arse...
Yesterday they had 5 inches of snow in Sweden at the same latitudes as here. I hope we won't have snow because then I would get seriously depressed.
No relief in the next ten days according to the Global Forecast System predictions for Europe.
But the UK seems to have had the best spring weather in many years. Aaargghh!

well, global warming is here our way. the temps have been unusually high. hovering 100. in May? and near our beaches, never, since who knows when. I think there is something to this global warming, things are awray around the world. Frost your way? so bizarre.

Hi Grace,
Me like your weather :)
Well, the weather tends to show anomalies during sunspot minimum and sunspot maximum and we are now at sunspot minimum.
During sunspot minimum the weather has a tendency to get "stuck" for long periods and temperatures tend to be slightly below normal while the weather during maximums is more "dynamic" and the temperatures are generally above normal.
This May will for sure be coldest I've seen here since 1977

Ah yes, the sweet smell of two-stroke.

And my arse agrees with yours as to global warming...
We went skiing on the weekend.

But it's greening up quickly here in our valley, although it's about 2 weeks behind the average year.

Dale,
Yes but that smell is causing me a headache after some few hours of operating the brushsaw or chainsaw though I use some "low-smoke nonsmelling" oil to mix in the gasoline.

Skiing?? Duh!

Today we see the thermometer rising above +10 centigrades for the first time since the 5th of May so we see a little improvement from day to day. But still at least 5 degrees below normal.

Grace,
Thank you for sending some warm air our way, it improved at least one degree from yesterday! :)

Haha, Hans, your guy should join our harbour steel band! It's main instrument is an angle grinder ;-)

We've had a very mixed May...sometimes hot, sometimes cold, wet and very windy!

LOL! Val, sounds like some local version of Einstürzende Neubauten :)
