Got the tickets for the Who show at the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki today. See ya there! Ingela ordered the T-shirt with the RAF bullseye for me. She is so kind, isn´t she?

Hi Hans! Many thanks for the visit to my blog about the Who concert. I can see you have that pleasure to look forward to...lucky man!
Your family look great - three sons huh? And your wife looks a darling too. I love the way she is surrounded by books. Being passionate about writing and books myself, I am always drawn to people who live with them too ;-)
I will be back ;-)
I think I got my ticket on the very same day actually! Such a nice change to get the ticket well in advance: with the UK concerts I'm used to Ticketbastard promising to send the tickets but instead informing me a week before the concert that I have to pick them up at the venue on the day of the concert.
It looks like you're all set for the show! :-)

Yes, I´ve been waiting for 40 years for the Who to return to Finland. :)
My wife IS a darling and for sure always surrounded by books although the picture is not from our place, we were wisiting our friends and we all cot challenged by the master of the house to play drums.

I was surprised to find this very anonymous letter from the Netherlands (!) containing the tickets and so well in advance of the show!
The letter was almost dumped together with all the lot of advertisments that arrive every day! I recocnised though that there was something with a substance inside so I thought it might be some fellow radio amateur sending me his QSL-card via regular post and sending a stamped letter for me to post my own to him.
Much to my surprise i found the tickets inside and that sent me skipping around the house. :)
According to the confirmation i got when ordering the tickets they would be sent out in a registered letter two weeks in advance but now they appeared in a regular letter more than 4 weeks in advance.
Phew... Can you imagine, tickets worth 400+ EUR in regular mail!?

Apparently a Finnish band called Havana Black will be the supporting act next monday. Never heard of them so I guess I need to try and hear some songs somewhere to see if I will go to the venue for them already or only to be there in time for The Who.
Havana Black was a very nice sounding kind of Heavy Metal - Blues band some 20 years ago. They used to play covers of original Fleetwood Mac and Peter Green music and a lot of own stuff. I don´t know how they sound today, very heavy I think! :)
